Marketing Daycare 2.0
This month we’ve been focusing on Daycare 2.0, a new model for dog daycare. We are encouraging all The Dog Gurus members to try the new model with at least a small group of dogs and see for yourself the added benefits of running your daycare differently. Our bonus item this month was an implementation guide to get you started. But how do you communicate change to your pet parents if you want to make some adjustments to your current program? How do you market Daycare 2.0?
The biggest consideration to remember is that you should market the value of your service and not just talk about what you do with the dogs. Be sure any marketing includes the peace of mind you are providing to your owners; the safe environment and, most importantly, the specialized care and attention you are giving to each dog. This last point is the number one distinction with a new model of daycare. No longer is every dog just put together in a group of dogs. Now they are hand-selected for certain groups, personal attention, and small group activities based on the individual dog. This high-touch, specialized care allows you to better cater to each dog and pet parent and increase your revenue as well.
As an added bonus this month, we have prepared some Daycare 2.0 Marketing Ideas you can use in your pet care center newsletter, emails, or on social media to help you promote a new way of caring for the dogs.
