Have Fun with Pup Paint
You know we love to have fun with our pups so we’re happy to share Pet Paint, a new product that is like face-painting for dogs, but on their bodies. Of course anything we recommend has to be very safe and tolerated easily if not enjoyed by the pups.
We think this product succeeds in each criteria and can be a great way for your business to stand out at community events and fund-raisers.
We were able to test Pet Paint ourselves at the recent Pet Boarding and Daycare Expo in Burbank. We want to thank Edgar (and Anna) for serving as our demo dog for our test. Robin volunteered to try this out as she claims to “not be crafty” so we could test how easy the product is to apply.
Pet Paint can be a fun “add-on” to in-house special events as there are several design templates including holiday themes that can be “temporary tattoos” for the pups. The product has also been successful as a fund-raiser for non-profits and we think it is a unique way to get email addresses at community events.
You will notice a reaction from Edgar when he first hears the spray of the temporary paint from the can. As a puppy this was probably new to him so keep that in mind as you plan your Pup Paint Party. We definitely recommend quick and simple designs, but definitely keep an eye on their body language and stop if they show multiple yellow signals.
Pet Paint is definitely temporary and easily wiped off the coat or after a day turns to chalk-like dust and disappears.
