It’s been great to see our industry embrace enrichment activities. For many years we’ve encouraged daycares to add an enrichment option and that trend is definitely still growing. What has been a pleasant surprise is how many other pet care services are incorporating enrichment activities beyond dog daycare.
There are so many creative ways to add enrichment activity options into your lodging, dog walking, pet sitting, grooming and training businesses. We’ve got a starter list of activities below and encourage you to create some of your own too. Just think about options that encourage dogs to do mental work or use their natural tendencies like sniffing or digging.
